Auntie Karina To The Rescue

Gideons Art
- Meet Auntie Karina -

Probably the thing we miss most living in Belgium is our family. We are very thankful for phones, web cams and the internet so that we can stay in touch with them, but it isn't the same as hugs, doing things together, and helping each other. This is why we were so thrilled when Karina, Luk's sister, decided to move to Belgium for 7 months.

- On Guard! -

Karina will be staying with us, to be a helper where needed. This has already come in handy as she has already babysat twice and tiled our bathroom. She is amazing let me tell you. She just finished school and is taking this opportunity to help take care of the new baby, to make some Euro's by getting a part time job, and to work on her Flemish.

Thank you Lord for family! And thank you for those are able to come and be an encouragement and help to us in this way. Thank you for making this possible. Thank you for a serving heart like Karina's that is a blessing to all that she comes into contact with. We pray that Karina enjoys her time in Belgium (and I secretly wouldn't mind it if she gets stuck here...).
